Custom Wood Deck Built in Knightdale, NC
Evergreen Decks LLC designed, permitted and built this new second-story pressure-treated pine deck in Knightdale, North Carolina. The deck features aluminum balusters, a wide 2×6 cocktail rail and a two-part staircase with an intermediate landing.
We also installed a Trex RainEscape® under-deck drainage system to divert water away from the screened porch below. This allows the homeowners to enjoy a dry, protected outdoor living space beneath the deck, even during rainy weather.

Because this deck sits above a screened porch, managing rainwater was an important part of the design. We installed a Trex RainEscape system beneath the deck boards to capture and redirect water away from the space below.
