John (Srdan) and Heather Popovic

John (Srdan) has been designing and building for over two decades, personally and professionally. He now concentrates entirely on what he enjoys the most: creating outdoor spaces in beautiful North Carolina for families to enjoy.

John has built a solid reputation in our community for his dependability, high-quality work, and focus on customer satisfaction while adhering to good building practices and safety standards.

When he is not working hard building decks, he loves spending time with his wife, Heather, and exploring new places.

Deck Building

We work with both wood and composite and can offer you an estimate that outlines your options based on different designs and construction materials.

Whether you want to start from scratch or modify your existing deck, we can create a design that complements your lifestyle and adds value to your home.

Deck Renovation

Deck Renovation

We enjoy working with stunning old decks that simply require some refurbishing, repairs and staining to restore their former glory.

This is particularly true with specialty woods, such as Ipe, which is featured in this photo of one of our previous projects.

If your deck is still structurally sound, it may only require repairs, sanding, and a fresh coat of stain.

Allow us to help you with the right plan to revitalize your outdoor living space.

Deck Staining

Choosing the right stain is crucial to protect your wooden deck or fence and bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain.

Transparent or semi-transparent stain is recommended for new decks, while older decks may require sanding and staining with a solid color.

There are plenty of excellent options available that can bring your natural wood to life. If you need help choosing the best option for your project, we’re happy to help.

We also offer custom stain services for customers who need to match an existing shade.
